Patent infringement litigation has become more powerful for the patentee in China recently due to the strengthened state policy of IP protection and IP awareness of entrepreneurs in China. We will highlight those changes through analysis of a few renowned case decisions in Chinese courts, which would benefit the participants greatly if they are interested in enforcing their patent protection in China.

Years of work for foreign companies in trademark and copyright in China has told us that many problems in enforcement could be avoided if thorough work had been done in prosecution. While many companies are willing to spend more in enforcement, they are cutting down their budget in prosecution as they think prosecution is much easier. In the presentation, we will explain why more attention shall be paid to prosecution and how to protect your brand better in a bigger picture.
